The finish that we apply will last for several years if it is properly maintained. We will provide you with instructions on how to maintain your floors so that they continue to look their best for years to come.
Once the floor type is identified, and you have chosen a finish in Acrylic, Acrylic fortified Urethane, Urethane or Ultra Violet floor finish, we can schedule the area. Prepare the floor and remove all of the old finish, Clean corners edges and baseboards, and install the finish.
In the event there are any problem areas on the completed areas due to workmanship or normal wear and tear caused by routine foot traffic, we will perform such work as necessary to ensure the resiliency and performance of the finish on the floors. It is agreed that any repair to the floors required as a result of negligence or abuse by you, scratches from equipment or furniture, by your personnel, customers or vendors, etc. would be in addition to the total cost of the service. Any repair work would be performed at such time(s) as we mutually agree, taking into consideration size and number of needed repairs and proximity and accessibility of those areas.
Other Contract Terms: This contract shall be interpreted, construed and governed according to the laws of the State of California. In the event that Finished Floors shall be delayed or prevented from the performance of any act required hereunder by reason of compliance with any applicable Federal, State, County or Municipal law, rule or regulation, or by reason of strikes, lockouts, other labor trouble, riots, war, rebellion, acts of terror, fire, earthquake, epidemic, acts of God, or other natural catastrophe or cause beyond the reasonable control of Finished Floors which renders it impractical for the party to perform under this contract, then said party shall be excused from performance of such act for so long as such event continues. No act, payment or conduct of the parties hereto, other than in writing signed by both parties, shall modify or alter any term or provision hereof. This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any previous communications, representations, or agreements by either party whether verbal or written. If any party hereto is required to institute legal action to enforce its rights under this contract or to have the meaning of any of its terms and provisions over which there is a dispute declared and determined by a court of law, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees as awarded by the court in addition to all other recoverable costs and damages.
